About this app
SuperTuxKart is a kart racing game in the spirit of the classics: pick a character, tear around a colourful track, grab bonus boxes and fire off weapons to get ahead. It aims for fun rather than realistic physics, so anyone can pick it up in a minute.
There are dozens of tracks and characters, plus single races, time trials, grand prix cups, a story mode, and online multiplayer where you race real people. On a phone you steer with on-screen controls, or connect a gamepad or keyboard.
It needs Android 5.0 or later and a phone from roughly 2014 onwards with OpenGL ES 3.0 graphics. The download itself is around 150 MB, and the game offers to fetch the full high-quality textures and music the first time you run it, which takes the whole thing to about 800 MB.
