About this app
Vela is a maps and navigation app built for phones without Google Play Services. It uses MapLibre and OpenStreetMap data to give you turn-by-turn directions, and it works with Android Auto.
It's a good fit if you're using a de-Googled phone, like one running GrapheneOS, and still want reliable, private navigation.
