About this app
Twire is another way into Twitch. Browse live streams and past broadcasts, watch with chat alongside, and skip the advertising — ad blocking is built in. A Twitch account is optional; if you just want to watch, you never have to log in.
Chat shows the third-party emotes people actually use, from BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ and 7TV, and past broadcasts come with the original chat replayed in step with the video. Picture-in-picture keeps a stream in the corner while you do something else, and most of the interface can be rearranged to your taste.
It is a client for Twitch, which is a closed service, so what you can watch is whatever Twitch is showing.
