About this app
TorrServe turns a torrent into an ordinary HTTP stream, so a film can start playing right away instead of after a full download. The cache is held in RAM rather than written to storage, which spares your phone's internal memory.
The project comes in two halves: a server that does the torrent work, and this Android app that drives it. On first run you fetch the server from inside the app — Updates, then Update server from network — or point the app at a remote server you already run.
The app holds no content of its own; you bring the torrents. And be careful if your internet provider blocks or watches torrent traffic.
