About this app
TorrServe turns a torrent into an ordinary HTTP stream, so a film can start playing right away instead of after a full download. The cache is held in RAM rather than written to storage, which spares your phone's internal memory.
The project comes in two halves: a server that does the torrent work, and this Android app that drives it. On first run you fetch the server from inside the app (Updates, then Update server from network) or point the app at a remote server you already run.
The app holds no content of its own; you bring the torrents. And be careful if your internet provider blocks or watches torrent traffic.
