About this app
Kreate is a music player that pulls its songs from YouTube Music, without the ads and without a subscription. It keeps playing while the screen is off, caches what you listen to, and lets you download whole playlists so they still work on a train with no signal.
It is a fork of RiMusic built around speed. You get themes and a choice of two interface styles, synced lyrics you can fetch, edit and translate, a sleep timer, listening statistics, playlist import and export, and support for Android Auto and Android TV. It has been translated into a long list of languages by the community.
Because it leans on YouTube Music, it can stop working for a while when YouTube changes something. The audio visualiser needs microphone permission and is off until you turn it on, and the built-in updater only works if you installed the APK from GitHub.
