About this app
HeliBoard is a keyboard built on Android's own AOSP keyboard. It has no internet permission whatsoever, so nothing you type can leave the phone: no cloud correction, no sync, no account to make.
Almost everything about it can be changed. Themes, colours and a background image of your own, custom layouts, the symbol and number layouts, multilingual typing, a split keyboard, one-handed mode, a number pad and clipboard history. Your settings and the words it has learned can be backed up and put back later.
Two things need a little setup. Word suggestions and spell check come from dictionary files you add yourself, downloaded separately for your language. Glide typing needs a closed-source library that cannot be shipped with the app, so you have to supply that file yourself if you want to swipe rather than tap.
