About this app

Graysky is an independent app for Bluesky, the open short-post social network. It is built around your custom feeds rather than one timeline, so hopping between the feeds you follow takes a tap.

It adds things the official app does not have: translate a post without leaving the app, view and post animated GIFs, clickable hashtags, and a look at anyone's likes instead of only your own. Push notifications are included.

The app is free to use. An optional Graysky Pro subscription adds better translations through DeepL, a custom accent colour and a circle graph of your closest connections — you can skip it and nothing stops working. Worth knowing before you install: it sends crash reports to a third-party service, it is not on F-Droid, and updates have slowed a lot — the last tagged release was in early 2025.
