About this app
Audire listens through your microphone and tells you what is playing. Hold your phone towards the music for a few seconds and you get the title, the artist, the album and the cover art. There is a quick settings tile so you can start it without digging through your apps.
Everything it recognises is kept in a history list on the device, so you can go back later and find that song you heard in a cafe last week. It uses Material You and takes its colours from your wallpaper.
The actual matching is done by Shazam's service. That means it needs an internet connection, and a short clip of the sound around you is sent off to a company you do not control.
