About this app
AnLinux sets up a real Linux system on an ordinary Android phone — Ubuntu, Debian, Arch, Fedora, Kali, openSUSE, Alpine, Void and more. You pick a distribution, the app hands you a command to paste into Termux, and a script downloads the image and mounts it for you.
Nothing is rooted and nothing about your phone is modified. It uses PRoot, which runs the distribution inside a normal app sandbox. If you want more than a command line, AnLinux can also install a desktop such as Xfce, MATE, LXQt, LXDE or KDE and start a VNC server so you can open it in a VNC viewer.
Termux has to be installed separately or none of this works, and the images come down over the internet, so plan for a big first download. There's no audio support yet.
